Rider Family Vineyard is planted in the heart of Selah, Washingon just outside the boundary of the Yakima Valley AVA. Unprotected by the Rattle Snake Mountains, Rider Family Vineyard is south facing at over 1,300ft in elevation. This higher elevation combined with intense crosswinds from the North West make this the perfect site for cooler climate grape varietals such as Zweigelt, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc. Rider Family Vineyard represents a uniquely Washington opportunity to move, incorporate, and thrive within a family farm setting.
