Our most personal, terroir driven traditional method sparkling wines from the state of Washington. Carefully sourced from unique, expressive, and sustainable vineyards around the state, the resulting wines are our personal interpretation and translation of the vineyard; from vine to bottle.
Rider Family Vineyard
Rider Family Vineyard is planted in the heart of Selah, Washingon just outside the boundary of the Yakima Valley AVA. Unprotected by the Rattle Snake Mountains, Rider Family Vineyard is south facing at over 1,300ft in elevation. This higher elevation combined with intense crosswinds from the North West make this the perfect site for cooler climate grape varietals such as Zweigelt, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc. Rider Family Vineyard represents a uniquely Washington opportunity to move, incorporate, and thrive within a family farm setting. To support that identity, Tirriddis is proud to showcase Rider Family Vineyard with an expressive sparkling wine from Pinot Blanc. The 2022 vintage was cool and dry, offering longer ripening for slow profound flavor development.

SINGLE VINEYARD SPARKLING PINOT BLANC
The first Tirriddis Pinot Blanc project proudly features Rider Family Vineyard. In 2022, a particularly exceptional sparkling vintage, the Pinot Blanc grapes grown at Rider developed later than all other grapes during that vintage. Fermented in 100% concrete egg with no malolactic fermentation, the winemaking lends to a fresh expression of Pinot Blanc. Showcasing the clarity and unique nature of the relationship between varietal and vineyard site. Destined to age, yet expressive in youth, this Pinot Blanc is showing its special character with a rounder, medium body carried by an illustrious mineral driven acidity. Opening with aromatics of fresh pear skin and waxy citrus rind, a clean, bright edge balances this sparkling gracefully to a long finish.
